Branding and packaging design for protein drinks  with a unique ingredient combo: milk and honey.

It was an exciting opportunity for The Grove team when Athlete’s Honeymilk’s parent company began discussing a collaboration with the Coca-Cola Company. We were tasked with developing packaging and promotional concepts to set the brand apart from other recovery drinks and help it stand out in the market. We created innovative and eye-catching designs that effectively communicated the product’s unique qualities, showcasing the potential of the brand’s visual identity.

Visual Brand Strategy

Our team started by going into the marketplace evaluating competitors’ products and packaging to identify gaps and opportunities. At the time, the combination of milk and honey stood out significantly from other recovery drinks.

With this insight, we explored various logo concepts and found a perfect blend of design elements that highlighted these key ingredients’, creating a design that would resonate with consumers.

Packaging Concepts

We explored different packaging concepts and discovered that large fields of white combined with a bold geometric honeycomb pattern created a unique yet familiar packaging graphic that accurately represented the product’s new approach to recovery drinks.

Point of Sale & Brand Promotional Concepts

To extend the visual brand, our team introduced a new soft-feel color palette that is more suited for mobile travel applications. We also created a comprehensive visual brand guidelines document to support the rollout of the new brand. The updated brand guidelines were then applied to various sales and marketing materials, thus broadening their application and ensuring synergy across a variety of platforms.
