Advertising design for an innovative sock brand in Men’s and Women’s Health magazines.

The Grove team created a new visual identity for the Copper Sole brand and developed print ad concepts that showcased the power of the new sock technology. We then negotiated ad buys and placements to ensure maximum exposure for the brand. The result was a successful campaign that effectively communicated the benefits of the product to the target audience.

Brand Strategy & Brand Identity

The original Copper Sole logo, resembling a metal rivet, did not evoke positive associations with footwear. To overcome this, our team explored multiple new concepts inspired by scientific equations and the periodic table to emphasize the benefits of copper ions in the Cupron-enhanced fibers used in the product, as well as their potential health benefits. This new visual approach was combined with a bright copper-orange color palette to help differentiate the Copper Sole product line from its competitors

After establishing the brand identity, our team developed concepts for an ad campaign. We combined original photography and graphic elements to showcase Copper Sole’s benefits to people with active lifestyles. With concepts in place, we worked with modeling talent and directed photo shoots to capture the imagery needed for the extended campaign. We also managed the ad buys for placement in several national health-focused publications

Packaging Concepts & Point of Sale

Our team extended the new branding established through the ad campaign to various packaging and point-of-sale concepts. The Renfro team used these to negotiate the placement of Copper Sole in multiple national retail chains.

Launching a Product Line With Branding Power
